The CVP Everest has the capability to make ultra-slim boxes with a minimum height of just 28mm, making it ideal for businesses with low profile order items that can fit through most standard letterboxes. Both systems can have up to three card mills feeding continuous fanfold card of different widths (60cm, 80cm, 100cm for example), which ensures optimal use of card ‘on the fly’, reducing waste and minimising costs. Or in the case of a 3PL, the three card mills could hold individually branded card feeds allowing multiple brands (clients) to be packed by a single machine.
Print-on-box facility is available with both the CVP Impack and CVP Everest models. Custom messages, logos and branding can be individually tailored for each and every package and offers tremendous opportunities for enhanced branding and individualisation of every package, giving the customer a more personalised unboxing experience.
How does automated packaging work
1.Place order on induct station
Single- or dual induct station where operators start the process by scanning each unique barcode to retrieve the correct shipping label.
2. Fit-to-size packaging
Each unique order is 3D-scanned to determine the minimum box size required. Corrugate is custom cut to eliminate unnecessary volume and the need for void fill. Order is then auto-packed in a fit-to-size box.
3. Box is sealed, weighed and labeled
Every box is securely sealed, weighed on the in-line scale, and automatically receives a carrier-compliant shipping label.
